Increase in postage costs

Unfortunately, Royal Mail's recent dramatic hike in postal rates has meant we are having to charge more for postage. We absorbed the last increase, but this latest one is so severe that we can no longer do so, and so have had to increase our own charges, especially since, as well as the actual postage charges, we also have to pay for the packing materials. We deeply regret having to make this move,a s we have tried to keep costs down for our customers; we are currently looking into alternative carriers, and want to assure our customers that if we can find better rates via courier companies we will reduce the shipping costs accordingly. AN ALGARVE AFFAIR, now already in its second edition!

In July 2010 we published the first novel by world-renowned equestrian author, teacher and trainer Sylvia Loch.
An Algarve Affair proved so popular that already we have brought out a second edition. Sylvia's new book is an exciting and intriguing tale of friendship, passion and betrayal set in Portugal's romantic Algarve region, and played out amongst the turmoil and upheavals of the Portuguese revolution of the 1970s. Not to be missed!

(For more fascinating information about Sylvia and the background to the book, click HERE to read an article which appeared in Algarve Goodlife magazine, Issue 110, January-February 2011.)
